凋落物分解是土壤养分转移的关键过程，对生态系统碳循环有重要影响。近几十年来由于全球变化加剧，凋落物分解速率（k）可能会发生显著变化，从而对陆地生态系统的功能产生深远的影响。虽然当前关于全球变化对凋落物分解影响的研究已经不少，但在全球尺度上凋落物分解对单一和联合变化因子的响应及其控制因素仍不清晰，相关研究亟待开展。
